Frequently asked questions
Is SaveNowX free to use?+
Yes. There's no account, no payment, and no watermark added to what you download.
Is it legal to download videos from X (Twitter)?+
You're responsible for only downloading content you have the right to use — your own posts, or posts you have permission to save. SaveNowX doesn't verify this; see the Terms of Service for the full policy.
Does it work on private or protected accounts?+
No — SaveNowX only resolves videos from public posts. It doesn't bypass private or protected accounts.
Will the downloaded video have a watermark?+
No. You get the original video file exactly as posted, with nothing added or removed.
What video qualities can I download?+
Whatever resolutions X provides for that specific post — usually a choice of a few, up to 1080p when the original is that high.
Can I download GIFs from X?+
Yes — X converts uploaded GIFs into silent video clips, and SaveNowX handles those the same way as regular videos.
Does SaveNowX work on mobile?+
Yes. The site works in any modern mobile browser on iOS or Android — no app to install.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. There's no sign-up or login — paste a link and download.
Is my data stored?+
No downloaded videos or post links are stored on SaveNowX's servers. See the privacy policy for the specifics of what's logged.
